Buying from our website online at Rose City Natural Healing will be different prices. Etsy has extra fees and my prices are more there, however my website prices will stay the same. I decided to get on Etsy to gain more audience to my website so here I am, I finally did it. Thank you all for your support and your business. Soon I will be sharing some blog posts in a few week series about ways to reduce stress and a more youthful look with yummy recipes!
Speaking of recipes, I have made a butternut squash soup and looking forward to digging in. If it came out to what I am hoping I will share this recipe soon too.
Have a great Weekend everyone!

P.S. This Butternut Squash Soup is amazing!!!!

Here is the recipe

    • 3 Tablespoons olive oil
    • 3 Medium onions sliced
    • 4 Garlic cloves chopped
    • 1 Teaspoon sea salt
    • 2 Tablespoon brown sugar
    • 1 Teaspoon curry powder (optional)
    • 1 Teaspoon cinnamon
    • 1 Medium Butternut Squash peeled and cut in small chunks
    • 1 Small Sweet Potatoe peeled and cut in chunks
    • 2 carrots peeled and cut in chunks
    • 1 apple peeled and cut in chunks
    • 4-6 cups chicken broth or
    • 4-6 cups water with 2 Tbsp chicken soup mix
    • 4 T butter
    • 1/2 C half and half
    • 1/2 Cream Cheese

    1. On medium heat in large pot sautee sliced onions and garlic in the olive oil with salt till softened not brown, about 10 min. When softened add brown sugar, curry and cinnamon. Stir for 3 minutes, then add squash, sweet potatoes, carrots and apple. Sautee about 5 minutes then add chicken broth or water and soup mix till just covers vegetables. Bring to a boil then lower light cover pot and simmer about 30 minutes till vegetables are soft. Let cool slightly then put through a blender or use a hand blender to puree. Serve with a slight sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
  1. Cooks in 1 hour or with an instant pot at a soup setting 30 minutes
  2. : )

    1. Then add in the butter, half and half and cream cheese. Use a stick blender to mix remaining chunks into a smooth consistency! Its absolutely yummy!! I did add in a little more Himalayan pink salt, pepper and curry powder to give a little more flavor. Serve and Enjoy!
